Lancaster police investigate shots fired incident

Lancaster police are investigating a gunshots fired incident that damaged a car early Thursday.

Officers responded to the area of W. Vine and S. Arch streets shortly after midnight after receiving several reports that 8-10 shots had been fired, police said.

A car was struck by multiple bullets, but no one was found at the scene, police said.

There were no injuries.

Police said it appears one person fired the shots, since all the shells were the same and were in the same area.
