Lebanon police are investigating an incident where several apparent gunshots were fired early Friday in the 300 block of E. Mifflin Street.
Officers were dispatched to the area shortly before 6 a.m. and spoke with witnesses who reported hearing 2-3 “pops” that they believed to be gunfire, police said.
The officers found a parked vehicle with a flat tire and a leaking radiator, but it was not immediately known whether the damage was caused by bullets. The vehicle was towed for further investigation.
One witness described a dark blue older model two-door vehicle leaving the area that may have been involved, police said.
Investigators said they believe the gunfire may be related to another incident about 10 minutes prior where officers were sent to the 300 block of N. 5th Avenue for a verbal argument.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in either area around the time of the incidents is asked to call the Lebanon City Police Department at 717-272-6611.
