No one hit the $222 million Powerball jackpot Wednesday night, but someone who bought a ticket at a Lebanon convenience store will get at least part of the prize.
Lottery officials said a Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold at the Turkey Hill at 815 Quentin Road.
The winning ticket from the May 8 drawing correctly matched all five white balls,
21-22-26-30-57, but not the red Powerball 27. The player also added Power Play, which set the prize at $2 million.
Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of the winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated.
The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling this winning ticket.
With no jackpot winner, the Powerball prize will be at least $270 million Annuity, or $175.8 million cash, for Saturday's drawing.
The Mega Millions lottery, which has a drawing Friday night, is offering a jackpot of at least $154
million, or a cash prize of $115.2 million.
