A 22-year-old Lebanon man has been charged with robbing a Fulton Bank in Cleona in February, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
Peter Smith, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, said Karree Isiah Pitts stole $2,709 from the bank at 433 West Penn Avenue in Cleona.
When the incident happened, the Cleona Police Department said the man walked into the bank shortly after 9 a.m., handed the teller a note and walked out with cash.
Following the incident, police circulated a surveillance photo of the suspect
The maximum penalty for the charge of bank robbery is 20 years in prison, supervised release following imprisonment and a fine.
