The election of Pope Francis created a lot of enthusiasm at the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Harrisburg.
Pope Francis is the first to be elected outside Europe since the 8th Century. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Saint Francis church in Harrisburg has more than 1500parishioners and 65 percent are Latino.
Father Orlando Reyes said he never imagined he'd have a Pope from Latin America.
Reyes says the cardinals sent a powerful message that the church is united and inclusive.
He said there was a lot of excitement during mass on Wednesday, and he expects the same kind of reaction over the weekend.
