York man wanted in gas station shooting

York police are looking for a city man wanted for a shooting last week that injured a woman in a gas station parking lot.

Thomas Washington IV, 34, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and firearms offenses, but he remains at large, police said Friday.

The charges stem from the February 1 shooting at the Sunoco A-Plus, at 260 N. Sherman Street.

Police have said the victim, Tamika Goodwin, was seated in the driver's seat of her car when she was shot in the arm. Her injuries were not life threatening.

Washington is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call York police at 717-846-1234 or 717-849-2219. Tips can also be called to York County Crime Stoppers at 717-755-TIPS.

A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
