Two people were injured in a fire at a York County business on Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported at RL Livingston Excavating, on Blair Mountain Road in Carroll Township, around 4 p.m. Officials say there was at least one explosion and a partial roof collapse.
The fire is now under control.
Two people, a Livingston Excavating employee and a firefighter, were transported to the hospital for head injures sustained after the roof collapse. A firefighter was also injured but officials do not believe the injuries are severe.
At this point, they do not know what caused the explosion.
Some nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, but the fire did not spread.
A nearby business, McNew's Automotive, told abc27 News that the explosion shook their windows.
Numerous fire departments from York and Adams counties were dispatched to the scene. Officials say this is because there are no fire hydrants in the area.
This is a developing story. abc27 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
