A special election has been scheduled to fill the state House of Representatives seat vacated by former Rep. Eugene DePasquale.
The election for the 95th legislative district in York County will be held in conjunction with the primary election on Tuesday, May 21, House speaker Samuel Smith announced Thursday.
DePasquale resigned to become Pennsylvania's auditor general.
The 95th district includes North York and Spring Garden Township and portions of West Manchester Township, West York, and York city.
Candidates will be selected by a process designated by their respective political parties.
