Police: Footprints in snow led to 3 wanted for burglary

Police said they found what was stolen from a Steelton area home by following footprints in the snow, but now they need help in tracking down their suspects.

Swatara Township police said Phillip A. Woods Jr., 19, of Highspire, and 20-year-olds Aaron C. Bryant and Ashley C. Smith, both of Harrisburg, remain at large.

The three have been charged with burglary, theft, conspiracy and corruption of minors for a New Year's Day home burglary in the 1000 block of Penn Street, police said. A 17-year-old was also charged in the crime and was turned over to juvenile probation authorities.

Police said the victim came home to find someone had forcibly entered the residence and walked away with two television sets, an iPad, and a Nexus tablet.

Responding officers found footprints in the snow leading to a neighbor's house, where all the stolen property was recovered with a search warrant, police said.
