A woman wanted in a 17-year-old homicide case in Franklin County has been arrested in Georgia.
Tonya “Snowy” Dice, 39, was wanted for her role in the 1995 murder of Freddie Brumfield in Greene Township, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Brumfield had been shot to death when his body was found along Funk Road on January 13, 1995.
Authorities said Dice was interviewed about the incident and admitted to witnessing the murder and cleaning up the blood, but she failed to appear for arraignment in Franklin County Court on an unrelated drug case six months after the killing.
In 1999, she was charged with criminal homicide and hindering apprehension and remained a fugitive on both cases until Thursday morning, when she was found to be living in Dalton, Georgia under the name of Jessica Keil with her husband and three children, authorities said.
Dice is being held in Georgia pending court proceedings for her extradition to Pennsylvania.
