A Harrisburg man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of a 25-year-old Uptown woman.
Anthony Parker, 39, of the 3200 block of North 3rd Street, was additionally charged with tampering with evidence, drug violations, and endangering the welfare of a child in the death of 25-year-old of Mikkia Dudley-Jackson, according to city police.
Police said Parker, Dudley-Jackson, had gone to New York City with a 15-year-old girl and had purchased about 1.5 ounces of liquid PCP that they planned to sell in Harrisburg. Dudley-Jackson wrapped the bottle in a condom and hid it inside her body to avoid detection, and sometime during the return trip the bottle apparently leaked and the PCP absorbed into Dudley-Jackson's system and killed her, police said.
Parker had the teen help him recover and dispose of the PCP and the two tried to clean up the rental car used for the trip, police said. They eventually took Dudley-Jackson's body to the police station early Monday and reported only that they had discovered her dead in the backseat when they arrived at a car wash following a trip to New York.
Police said Dudley-Jackson apparently was dead for a period of time before her body was brought to the station.
