Harrisburg man arrested for taking photos in store

Police said they have arrested a man who allegedly took unwanted photographs of a woman as she shopped in a suburban Harrisburg
retail store.

Matthew John Hummel, 32, of the 3700 block of Derry Street, has been charged with one count of
invasion of privacy and sent to Dauphin County Prison on $25,000 bail, according to Susquehanna Township police.

The woman had reported
that a man tried to take a photo with a phone held under her skirt as
she shopped Sunday at the Gabriel Brothers store in the 3800 block of
Union Deposit Road, police said.

When she confronted the man, he fled from the store and left the parking lot in a small dark four-door car, police said.
