HACC’s culinary arts program to continue

The culinary arts and food service management programs at Harrisburg Area Community College will continue after its current location at the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center closes on December 31.

HACC President John J. Sygielski said Thursday that the college is actively pursuing several options for a seamless transition to a
temporary location that will be in place when the spring 2013 term
begins January 14.

The school's Board of Trustees voted last week to consolidate HACC's central
administrative offices into one location at the C. Ted Lick Wildwood
Conference Center.

Portions of Mumma Hall, which houses the Office of
College Advancement, will be renovated for the consolidation.
