More charges filed in Mont Alto shooting deaths, abduction case

State police in Franklin County have filed additional charges against Kevin Cleeves, the Chambersburg man accused of killing his estranged wife and two others last month.

Cleeves, 35, was charged Wednesday with kidnapping his four-year-old daughter after the July 20 killings in Quincy Township, as well as interfering with the custody of a child, unlawful restraint of a minor, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, according to District Attorney Matt Fogel.

Cleeves was previously charged with three counts of criminal homicide and remains in the Franklin County Jail without bail.

He is accused in the shooting deaths of 25-year-old Brandi Cleeves and her boyfriend, 28-year-old Vincent Santucci, and Santucci's mother, 55-year-old Rosemary Holma, in the front yard of Santucci's home in the 7600 block of Anthony Road.

He then fled to Ohio with his daughter, who was present at the time of the shootings, and was arrested the next morning.

According to charging documents in the case, Cleeves told his aunt that he went to the home to pick up his daughter when Santucci told him that Leia was his daughter and to get off his property.

Cleeves then reportedly shot Santucci, his estranged wife, and Santucci's mother as she came running out of the house, documents state. All three died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Cleeves also said he was trying to get to Michigan because he wanted his daughter to stay with his aunt, documents state.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 14.
