6 report robberies in Harrisburg’s Midtown

Six people were robbed just minutes apart Wednesday night in Harrisburg's Midtown neighborhood, city police said.

Two men and a woman told officers a pair of robbers confronted them at the intersection of Green and Herr as they walked to their car shortly before 10 p.m. They said one robber pointed a gun and the other punched one of the men in the face before the two stole their money, a purse and a wallet, police said.

The victims saw the robbers confront another man as they walked away. That man was robbed of his cell phone, but was not harmed, police said.

Moments later, a man and woman reported that they were robbed of their money at Green and Boas. Police said the two were robbed in nearly the same manner by two men of the same description, but were not injured.
