The Powerball lottery has reached a jackpot of $205 million for Saturday night's drawing.
No tickets sold for Wednesday's game matched the six numbers drawn, 19-30-33-48 and 59, so the payout is now worth an estimated $139.6 million to a single-ticket holder with the cash option.
The jackpot is the largest in the Powerball game since February, when 81-year-old Louis White of Rhode Island held the lone winning ticket to a $336.4 million prize and chose a cash payout of $210 million, the largest to one person in Powerball history.
A group of Philadelphia transit workers, known as the SEPTA 48, claimed a $172.7 million prize in April and split a cash prize of $107 million.
Of course, neither prize compares to the $656 million Mega Millions jackpot – split among ticket holders in Maryland, Kansas and Illinois – on March 30.
