Police said they have filed charges against a Lancaster school teacher accused of having sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy.
City police said 36-year-old Christina Layser after normal school hours kissed and fondled the boy in her classroom at Reynolds Middle School on various dates between October and December.
The student reported the incidents to a school resource officer assigned to Reynolds this week, police said.
Layser was charged with one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of corruption of minors, and three counts of indecent assault.
Police said she voluntarily came to the station with her attorney on Friday and after meeting with a detective was arraigned before a district judge and released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
