Police are looking for the armed robber who took money from a Lancaster flower shop.
City police said the robber had a silver handgun when he demanded cash Wednesday morning from the register of Royer's Flowers, at 873 N. Queen Street.
The clerk opened the register drawer and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the gunman fled in an unknown direction, police said.
No customers were in the store during the robbery and no employees were harmed.
The robber was described as a Hispanic or black man, about 35 years old, and 160–180 pounds. He was said to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt over a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, police said.
