HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) – The Hershey Bears rallied from two goals down in the third, but a misplayed puck allowed Toronto the game winning tally, 3-2, at Giant Center on Friday night.
Jerry D'Amigo opened the scoring for Toronto in the first,and with Dale Mitchell's goal in the second period the Bears found themselves in a 2-0 deficit.
Boyd Kane finally answered at 11:10 into the third, and Brian Willsie found the net just 1:22 later a power play goal to tie the game.
But with less than three minutes remaining, goaltender Dany Sabourin gave a puck away to Toronto's Christian Hanson, who fired the errant puck into an empty net.
The Bears will be in Syracuse Saturday night before returning home to play Binghamton on Sunday.
